The Masked Singer: Alan Carr guesses who Robin is
Alan Carr is back on BBC Two with the second series of Interior Design Masters tonight. Ahead of the first episode, the presenter and comedian opened up about life in lockdown and the inevitable weight gain that followed, sharing all in a new interview.
The 44-year-old television star has put on weight after enjoying three-course meals on a regular basis while stuck at home.
However, he did also say he was past the point of worrying about piling on the pounds.
Alan lives with his husband Paul Drayton and their three dogs.
He revealed that his spouse had splashed out on a massive TV, so they had been enjoying cosy nights in watching their favourite shows – Botched, The Crown and Strictly Come Dancing.

When asked what he had been up to during lockdown, Alan said they had watched lots of good TV and admitted that he was “addicted” to puzzles.
He then went on to tell this week’s Radio Times magazine about his weight gain.
“I’ve also put on weight. We’ve been having three-course meals every night because we’re so bored,” the funnyman divulged.
“But I’m at that age where I’m past caring,” he added.
Alan, who is a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, also ruled out an appearance on one of his favourite programmes – Strictly.
Despite admitting that it would help him shift the pounds, he admitted that he didn’t want to be the joke act on the show.
Much like this year’s champion Bill Bailey, Alan said he would take the dancing very seriously.
He admitted that he’s been asked to star in the show on numerous occasions.

“They always ask me to do Strictly and I say no because I want to be sexy doing the Argentine tango; I don’t want to be a joke,” he told the publication.
Asked if Bill Bailey’s victory could persuade him, he went on to say that weight loss would be a bonus.
“Well, you lose weight, doing it…
“I want to be treated as a serious artiste if I do,” he added.
Following an appearance on The Masked Singer at the weekend, Alan will be back on TV screens tonight for the return of Interior Design Masters.
The show sees 10 aspiring designers compete to win the opportunity to design a show home in Oxfordshire.
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen joins judge Michelle Ogundehin for the first episode.
Interior Design Masters airs tonight at 8pm on BBC2.
