Love Island favourites Alex and Olivia Bowen have shared their upcoming Christmas plans – which will be their son Abel’s first.
Olivia, 28, gave birth to the pair’s first child together in June. His arrival came shortly before the reality TV stars’ fourth wedding anniversary.
Now, as the family-of-three prepare for their first Christmas together, Alex, 31, and Olivia have shared their exciting plans with OK!.
“It’s all about family this year,” said Olivia, as Alex insisted that they’re going to “go all out”.
The doting mum went on: “We’ve got two Christmas trees in the house, and we’ve got two more to get. Lots of shopping to do. But we’re just making sure we see loads of family.”
“Everyone wants a piece of Abel,” Olivia laughed.
The 28 year old recently unveiled the amazing Christmas decorations they already have up in their beautiful Essex home, and appear to have opted for a green and gold theme this year.
After moving into their sprawling Essex mansion back in 2019, the pair have been busy putting their own stamp on the property – especially during the festive season.
Decorating their huge hallway and staircase, the doting parents covered the space with a variety of garlands, bows and warm fairy lights.
In a series of snaps posted to their Instagram account The Bowen Home, Olivia revealed that they’d covered the handrails of their staircase with an elaborate garland made up of foliage, gold leaves and spray painted pinecones.
Trailing all the way to the top of the £1 million property, the green garland also features a series of forest green velvet bows, matching baubles as well as a string of warm toned fairy lights, giving the space a cosy feel.
Elsewhere, the couple have decorated the space with a large Christmas tree which is decorated with a similar theme and can be seen covered in gold and green baubles, with gold branches mixed between the green foliage.
Sharing the snaps online, she wrote: “Hello Christmas 2022 [emojis] I can’t believe this is our third Christmas in this house. Things just go so quickly. The time is flying past it’s crazy!”.
They’ve also been working ona playroom for son Abel, which boasts an impressive “media wall”.
Giving fans a glimpse of their ongoing progress, the pair shared a video of a room with a stunning fireplace and a TV built into the wall.
