Alice Evans stepped out for lunch with a pal on Wednesday, hours after her estranged husband Ioan Gruffudd and his new girlfriend Bianca Wallace went ‘Instagram official’.

The actress, 50, was seen dining out with supportive friends shortly before she continued her Twitter tirade, which was laden with shocking claims about the couple.

She launched her furious attack on the couple moments after both Ioan, 48, and Bianca, 29, shared a loved-up image on their respective social media accounts – as she accused the Liar actor of engaging in the romance for three years, while also claiming she was ‘friends’ with Bianca prior to the affair.

As her online pals and critics flooded social media with response to her diatribe – with both positive and negative comments – Alice spent hours responding to the messages with explosive claims and bold comments, including allegations that Ioan promised their daughters Ella, 12, and Elsie, eight, he would stay single.

Tough times: Alice Evans stepped out for lunch with a pal on Wednesday, hours after her estranged husband Ioan Gruffudd and his new girlfriend Bianca Wallace went ‘Instagram official’

In her updates, Alice repeatedly likened her agony to her grief after losing her Mum, Dad, step-sister and best friend, accused Ioan of cruelty in branding her a ‘bullying manipulator’ and defended airing her dirty laundry online – as she insisted those who took issue with her behaviour should ‘just scroll past’.

Following Ioan’s post about Bianca ‘putting a smile on his face again’ Alice launched her tirade, in which she made the accusations about the couple’s romance – insisting they were a couple for three years.

After her initial outburst, wardrobe assistant Amy Douglas – a friend and co-worker of Ioan, who worked with the star and Bianca on Australian series Harrow – denied Alice’s claims in a series of tweets, as she accused Alice herself of being ‘abusive,’ and insisted they didn’t begin speaking until filming for series three began in 2020.

Amy, who said Ioan and Bianca gave her permission to speak, defended her pals after Alice accused her husband of cheating on her for three years with the actress, who is 21 years her junior, telling fans she was ‘lost and sad.’

In response to Amy, Alice later penned: ‘You totally and absolutely know that they started seeing each other before he told me he didn’t love me and wanted a divorce. If you want to get into this we can. But spitting on the victim isn’t a great look. Even for a fashion designer.’

When one of her Twitter followers wrote: ‘Alice, my dear. You are above this public exposure. Please don’t’, Alice replied: ‘But my friend, my entire life has been brought to it’s knees. I have nothing left. The threats are worse. What would you suggest? (And you know ai value your opinions)’.

Support: She embraced a friend during the lunch amid her raging anger at her ex-husband which she vented online

Alarming: She launched her furious attack on the couple moments after both Ioan, 48, and Bianca, 29, shared a loved-up image on their respective social media accounts – as she accused the Liar actor of engaging in the romance for three years, while also claiming she was ‘friends’ with Bianca prior to the affair

Another online pal wrote: ‘You have all of us. We may not know each other outside of twitter but id definitely be there helping you as much as possible if I could. This is going to be one of the hardest journeys in your life but you’re strong and those girls will grow up strong because of you.’

Alice graciously replied: ‘Thank you. And it doesn’t matter. In the future it WON’T matter. People still talking about “IRL” friends are like the ones that were taking about the wall phone spoiling letters, or books spring toys. We evolve. MOST of my friends are online friends!’

When one of her followers jumped to Ioan’s defence, Alice replied: ‘Miranda – HE has been talking terribly TO MY FACE for months. And instead of saying Look I’m sorry, I’ve fallen love, he’s told me I’m basically worth nothing…

Rage: In response to Amy, Alice later penned: ‘You totally and absolutely know that they started seeing each other before he told me he didn’t love me and wanted a divorce. If you want to get into this we can. But spitting on the victim isn’t a great look. Even for a fashion designer’

‘He IS. But at the same time he released an instagram photo today showing more or less what everybody had been thinking. So not only has he gone against his “OFW” only thing he’s gone against his ‘no family photos’ tooz! I mean – WHO doesn’t want pics of their kidsz.’

The follower then wrote: ‘You’re constantly trying to shame this guy, what’s the plan here? Force him to stay with you? Force him to love you? If a person feels like they don’t want to be with someone anymore, they have a right look for happiness elsewhere. Marriage is not owning another person. 2/3’.

Alice replied: ‘What? Would it be too much to ask that if he falls in love with a mother woman after 20 years together he sits me down and tell me kindly? Rathe than spending 18 months sending threats via lawyers, refusing to speak to me and telling everybody I am a bully and a manipulator?

Continuing in their reactions, the follower penned: ‘I really do feel your pain Alice, it’s one of the worst things in the world to be left & told you’re not loved anymore, but what are you trying to achieve here? It’s like you’re trying to reason feelings, someone fell out of love with you…

Anger: She hit out at her critics and thanked others for their support in her slew of angry tweets

‘It happenened to everyone of us. 1/3… I really do have sympathy, someone you love leaving you is the worst, but also she’s too cought up in her pain, not seeing she’s hurtful to others too. She says he had to let her know he’s dating someone. But did she let him know she will trash him on Twitter when this started?’

An enraged Alice then wrote: ‘WHAT? WHAT THE F**KIN FUCK? Who am I ‘hurting”? I gave my beloved career because nothing shoots in LA and we were a TEAM. How can you POSSIBLY compare the feeling I have now to somebody whose feelings are hurt? This is worse for me than losing my Mom. Or my sister.’

Another follower said of Amy and her intervention: ‘Uh who is this person??? She doesn’t know s**t. Just trying to cover up to their cheating ways’, leading to Alice writing: ‘Her name is Amy Douglas. She has worked precisely ONCE on a film – on ONE episode of HARROW, dressing Extras. Bianca Wallace was an Extra, I’m not sure for how may days or scenes. Seem they got friendly.’

One follower claimed Alice’s behaviour was down to her star sign, writing: ‘This is a very Leo moment. Attention over anything. Even when it’s embarrassingly desperate. It makes me sad Folded handspraying for you’.

Alice swiftly responded: ‘Absolute crock of s**t Leo whatever. Nothing this horrific has ever happening to me in my life (despite losing Mum, Dad, Step-sister, best friend) I do not want attention. I CERTAINLY do not want your prayers. Think I’m ’embarrassingly desperate? In your dreams a*shole’.

Not happy: She was responding with rage at the situation

She then refused to be titled a victim, writing: ‘Oh Jeez. I am not “a victim”. I am “the victim” in this particular scenario. However I come from nothing and everything ai have achieved I have done so of my very own bat. This too shall pass. Victim – my a*s.’

In further messages, she revealed her children were aware of the drama, writing: ‘We’re all around the breakfast table and Ella has already seen in on hers. Mine comes up . (Elsie has it on hers but isn’t really interested). What do you think “not telling the truth” to kid it’s a good MO?…

‘I did! What’s the alternative? Letting her go on thinking her Dad ‘would never have another girlfriend’, mantra she’s gotten by on for the last year? You think I should lie for him????’

She continued: ‘I’ve never gotten to understand the people that don’t like divorce fights of dirty linens fights on twitter. Why don’t they scroll past? My take? Disingenuousness. The have a dog in the race (in this case it’s not me) But they don’t have the intellectual smarts to explain why… are you really THAT dim?…

‘I said “He blamed the collapse of our marriage on things I had done wrong, forcing me to try to change myself, when all the time he was s**ggin the 20 yo extra and I had nothing to do with it. HE LIED. He could have told the truth. How hard is that?… Oh wait! I get it! Are you saying there are “RULES”? God I’m so silly. So…

Ouch: She claimed Ioan promised his daughters he would not get another girlfriend

‘Tell me where the rules are. Clearly in marriage, there are no RULES. Who agrees? (Cos he can go off and shag a random while we’re still married) So twitter if s/o hurts me, I have to stay [quiet]’.

One fan brought her attention to the image, saying: ‘Have you seen this? I’m sure you have’, to which Alice responded: ‘Yep. It was my first cry of the morning. I hope the middle thing is not a ring’, making reference to the shooting star emoji he included in his post.

Prior to her latest onslaught on tweets, sources spoke to The Sun about the scenario, with insiders stating: ‘Ioan has denied so many things since they separated, and at times Alice began to doubt herself and wonder if she had things wrong in her own mind. But now she feels as though this confirms all of her beliefs.

Pain: One fan brought her attention to the image, saying: ‘Have you seen this? I’m sure you have’, to which Alice responded: ‘Yep. It was my first cry of the morning. I hope the middle thing is not a ring’, making reference to the shooting star emoji he included in his post

‘She had asked him many times if this was all about someone else, but Ioan told her it wasn’t — even though she suspected that may have been the case because his behaviour towards her changed so dramatically.

‘Now that she knows he has met someone else — and it’s someone he has known for so long — all of her other suspicions and doubts have come flooding back and it has totally floored her.

‘Stuff she had been able to bury and move on from is now back at the forefront of her mind and she has all of those suspicions and uncertainties again. It’s a terrible time for her.’

An industry insider continued: ‘He seemed to feel his relationship with Alice was over anyway and didn’t go to huge lengths to hide anything. He and Bianca certainly seem very happy and comfortable together. Hopefully it works out for the best for everyone in the end.’

Rage: She hit out at Bianca and alleged that they were friends

Following the post, Alice accused Tamzin Outhwaite of ‘knowing about it’ under Ioan and Bianca’s romantic post. In a now-deleted comment, the former EastEnders actress wrote: ‘You look amazing. And younger somehow.’

Alice then furiously responded? ‘@glamzin Tamzin? WTH? You knew about this???’ But Tamzin has since denied she had any knowledge of Ioan’s relationship with Bianca, telling MailOnline: ‘I didn’t know about it. But I have nothing to say.’

Alice hasn’t been shy of airing the breakdown of her marriage to Ioan on social media, and previously slammed him for being ‘devoid of any empathy’ and ‘disingenuous’.

Ioan filed for divorce from Alice in March, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason behind their split. The document, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on March 1, revealed the former couple separated on New Year’s Day – a month before they went public with their relationship status.

All over: Alice confirmed she and Ioan were splitting after 20 years in a shock statement she shared on Twitter in January 2021 (pictured together in 2018)

At the time, they had shared a joint statement that read: ‘As you can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult time for our family and we remain committed to our children. Thank you for respecting our privacy.’ It was also reported the divorce papers state the exes are in a ‘collaborative process and intend to resolve all issues including spousal support by written agreement’.

Alice, meanwhile, had addressed the pair’s split in a shock statement shared to Twitter in January in which she claimed Ioan had ‘mentally tortured’ her.  The mum-of-two also accused her estranged husband of ‘winding the s**t up me’ as she posted a vitriolic video about their ‘collaborative divorce’ talks.

Alice and Ioan met on the set of 102 Dalmatians in 2000, when Alice was in a relationship with Pablo Picasso’s grandson Olivier. She and Ioan became engaged six years later after she gave him an ultimatum about their relationship, and they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mexico in September 2007.

Ioan hasn’t publicly addressed the couple’s divorce.
