Alison Hammond ecstatic over her surprise cameo in Harry and Meghans Netflix show

This Morning presenter Alison Hammond left viewers amazed as she revealed she had a surprise cameo in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix documentary.

The first three episodes of the series were released last week, and detail the royal couple's relationship up until their wedding.

The third episode saw the Duke and Duchess of Sussex discuss their first official royal walkabout, and it's here that Alison's voice can be heard, as she shouts "Meghan, we love you!" to the pair.

Discussing the documentary on today's This Morning, Alison said that she's obsessed with the series and has already watched the first three episodes.

She then goes on to reveal her cameo, telling co-host Dermot O'Leary: "I don't know if you know but in the third episode you do actually hear my voice."

To which Dermot asks "what?" before Alison continues: "You hear me in Nottingham going 'Meghan we love you', you hear it really really loud."

Recalling how she noticed this, she said: "So I was watching the documentary and was like 'that's my voice' I was like 'this is so good'" adding that she's "all over this documentary."

As she finishes, Dermot jokes: "There will be no limit with her after this."

Some viewers of the documentary had also noticed Alison's voice in the episode, with one fan posting to Twitter: "hearing the iconic @AlisonHammond shout 'Meghan we love you' on episode 3 of #HarryandMeghan during their first walkabout has just made my morning."

Another fan wrote: "obsessed with @AlisonHammond's voice being in the new harry & meghan documentary on their first royal walkabout when Alison was there shouting “Meghan we love you!” iconic."

And while watching the documentary, a third viewer tweeted: "Is that @AlisonHammond in ep. 3 of Harry & Meghan shouting “Meghan we love you” in Nottingham!? 100% certain and I know she was definitely there with This Morning. Honestly could spot her voice a mile off."

The Netflix series came about in a multimillion-pound deal for Harry and Meghan. The pair have described the documentary as an account of their love story.

However, the release of the first three episodes hasn't been without controversy, with royal insiders accusing the couple of “inflammatory assaults” against the monarchy.

In a teaser clip for part two of Harry & Meghan, Harry claims that people were “happy to lie” to protect his brother, Prince William.

Meghan tells the camera: “I wasn’t being thrown to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves.”

While an image of Buckingham Palace is shown, Harry adds: “They were happy to lie to protect my brother (William).

“They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.” It is unclear who the duke is referring to as “they”.
