Architect and TV star George Clarke has reportedly split from his wife after almost four years of marriage.
The Amazing Spaces host, who has also known for fronting shows including The Restoration Man and Remarkable Renovations, is now estranged from Katie Morgan Jones, according to The Sun.
The couple – who would split their time between London and the Cotswolds – are said to have put their Gloucestershire bungalow on the market for £870,000.
The newspaper reports that sources close to the couple have also confirmed their relationship is over.
It also claims that Katie allegedly alluded to their separation in a series of cryptic Instagram posts before setting her account to private.
George, 47, married senior marketing consultant Katie, 42, in an Ibiza beach wedding in 2018.
He has yet to publicly comment on the reported split, taking to Instagram ahead of the news on Saturday to share a picture of himself in a hard hat in front of a new home, built in a factory.
Alongside the photo, the Channel 4 star wrote: ‘What a fantastic day I had yesterday at our Home Building Factory in Alfreton. It’s been really, really tough to make it happen, but ‘manufacturing’ new homes in a more controlled, safer, weather-protected environment is 100% the way forward!
‘And Innovation isn’t easy…it takes a huge amount of time and investment, but innovation is what the home building industry needs. What’s exciting manufacturing homes in a factory like this is that innovation never ends once you start, which I love!’
He was previously married to animator and art director Catriona Drummond from 2009 to 2014.
They share three children, sons Georgie and Emilio, and a daughter, Iona.
In a statement confirming their divorce at the time, George said: ‘We have been married quite a long time and decided to part.
‘We have separate custody of the kids and are going through an amicable separation and divorce.’
