Apprentice star Andrew Brady jailed for four months after ‘campaign of harassment’

Andrew Brady has been sent to prison for four months after he was found guilt of conducting a campaign of harassment against GB News presenter Dan Wootton.

The former Apprentice star, and the late Caroline Flack's ex fiancé – the former couple dated in 2018, was told by a judge that his claims Wootton was responsible for Flack's death were "wholly irrational".

Judge Jeremy Richardson QC also said that Wootton, the former executive editor of The Sun, was actually the former Love Island presenter's friend.

What's more, the judge told Brady, 31, his "attacks" against Wootton were due to his "craving" for "celebrity status".

Judge Richardson also told the reality TV star that it was due to his "irritation that the press were not in the least interested in your somewhat uninteresting life”.

Brady, who lives at Cross Bedford Street in Sheffield, admitted harassment at a court hearing earlier this week.

He admitted to using social media and video platforms to cause distress to Wootton via a range of means.

These included comparing Wootton to convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein, claiming he had evidence to prove it and asking his social media followers to assist him.

Brady wrote that he "felt like getting rid of him once and for all" and said matters "should be settled by violence".

What's more, the reality TV star also left WhatsApp voice messages for the GB News host, also stating he intended to end the journalist's career.

Brady also admitted to sending Wootton an explicit image and invited him to engage in sexual activity with him.

During his sentencing hearing, the judge also called some of Brady's comments as "utterly outrageous".

Andrew and Caroline dated for around six-eight months after embarking on a whirlwind romance in February 2018.

The couple got engaged and seemed utterly loved-up, but Caroline called it quits on their romance by December of that year, amid cheating allegations.
