ASAP Rocky and Rihanna looked besotted by each other when they were pictured backstage at the Oscars 2023, as they prepare to welcome their second child together.
After Rihanna, 35, iconically announced her second pregnancy at the Superbowl, the rapper cradled the singer's blossoming baby bump in a series of stunning behind-the-scenes pictures at the 95th Oscar Academy Awards – held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
ASAP, real name Rakim Mayers, was seen wearing a cream and black tuxedo while Rihanna glowed in a beautiful green silk skirt and shawl.
Rakim, 34, lovingly placed his hand on the Umbrella hitmaker's growing bump while leaning in to plant a kiss on her neck during the star-studded evening.
Earlier in the evening, Rihanna was seen on the stage as she flawlessly performed her nominated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, Lift Me Up.
The rapper cheered on his beau, who was accompanied by a full orchestra, proudly as he was seen raising a champagne glass in the audience.
It's a happy time for the couple after Rihanna announced her surprise pregnancy a month ago – less than a year after she gave birth to her son.
Speaking about their first child, Rihanna labelled her rapper as her “best friend” in a Vogue interview.
“We’re best friends with a baby," she gushed.
"I’m literally the girl trying to get into the boys club, waiting for my turn. He is obsessed with his father," before calling their bond "undeniable".
Lady Gaga was up for the same award as Rihanna for her Top Gun: Maverick song, Hold My Hand, but the award was given to Naatu Naatu from RRR, which made history by becoming the first Indian film song to win an Oscar.
The 36 year old looked sensational at the awards in a Versace gown. The same gown that supermodel Gigi Hadid, 27 rocked on the catwalk for the brand's FW23 show in Los Angeles.
Wearing a stunning sheer, long-sleeved black dress with her hair styled back, the singer posed for photographs and even helped a photographer who tripped.
And fans were amazed by Gaga – who was seen running back to help him up and ensure he was alright before continuing with photographs and interviews.
Fans quickly commented on the star's kind remark, with one writing: "Acts of kindness come naturally to her, she’s a Queen."
Another said: "Seen so many instances of her being this way….and it’s always instant, without any forethought or calculation. 100% who she is!"
