The restraining order awarded by court in order to prevent a man named John Matthews Hearle from coming near the ‘Bad Guy’ hitmaker and her family will last five years.
AceShowbiz –Billie Eilish has reportedly been granted a five-year civil harassment restraining order against John Matthews Hearle.
The “Bad Guy” star filed for protection from the man in February (20), claiming that she feels anxious every time she comes home and fears for her safety after Hearle sent her disturbing letters and started camping on the grounds of a school across the street from her house.
“I no longer feel safe going outside my home and enjoying basic physical exercise in my neighbourhood, as he could attempt to approach and hurt me,” Billie stated in her request for the restraining order.

One note Hearle allegedly sent Eilish read, “You can’t get what you want, unless what you want is to die for me … You will know that soon the water will rise, and you might very well die … You will die.”
Billie had asked for the court to put an order in place keeping Hearle at least 200 yards away from her and her parents Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell, with whom she lives.
Last month, the singer said in her court filing, “For nearly six months, an individual who has identified himself as John Matthews Hearle, a/k/a Adam Lucifer, has harassed and threatened me while he has camped outside a school across the street from my family’s home.”
Her father further pointed out, “My family and I feel vulnerable and unsafe because we honestly have no idea of what Hearle is capable of, or what his intention.”
