Billie Eilish says fans throwing objects at stars 'dangerous'

Billie Eilish says trend of fans throwing objects at stars like Bebe Rexha and Harry Styles is ‘dangerous’ adding it has been happening to her for SIX YEARS

Billie Eilish, 21, is used to her live shows being a hit — literally.

‘I’ve been getting hit on stage with things for like, literally, six years,’ the Bad Guy singer told The Hollywood Reporter at the Barbie world premiere.

The NDA singer was responding to a request for comment about the recent slew of singers being pelted onstage with items by thrown by fans recently at live shows.

‘I don’t know why this is like new,’ she added nonchalantly.

However, the Your Power singer made sure to note, ‘People just get excited and it can be dangerous.’

Barbie girl: The talented My Power singer warned that fan excitement could be ‘dangerous’

She’s no stranger to live shows herself, given that Billie has been performing since the age of 15.

After the success of her breakthrough single Ocean Eyes, the petite singer released her first full studio album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go, in 2019.

However, the raven-haired beauty had already headlined her first tour, Don’t Smile At Me, in 2017, to correspond with her debut EP of the same name.

Billie has since gone on to headline five extra concert tours over the span of her music career so far.

Her last tour, titled the Happier Than Ever tour, was two years ago.

Given her extensive experience performing live onstage, the Hotline star recognized that fans throwing things onstage oftentimes stemmed from a place of love.

‘I have mixed feelings about it, because when you’re up there it blows. But you know it’s out of love and they’re just trying to give you something,’ the Hostage singer said.

However, she had a message for fans of live music everywhere that might be eager to toss things at their favorite performer – ‘We get it, but don’t do it.’

The Hotline Bling star even performed as the headliner for Coachella back in 2022; she also performed at the music festival this past April

While the Coachella headliner attempted to empathize with fans, she acknowledged, ‘It’s absolutely infuriating when you’re up there.’

‘You’re in a vulnerable position,’ Billie added.

The Bury A Friend singer will be hitting the road again herself after recording the track What Was I Made For, for the Barbie soundtrack.

Her next live performance will be at Lollapalooza in August.

Her next highly-anticipated album Roses, is reportedly slated to drop on August 6th.
