Bobby Davro criticises cancel culture on TalkTV

Comedian Bobby Davro has shared a heartbreaking tribute to his late fiancée Vicky Wright in which he vowed to “always love” her.

Vicky’s death was announced on May 3 and Bobby, 64, has remained silent on social media until now.

He returned to Twitter on Thursday to pen the touching tribute which he shared with his 34,000 followers.

In a series of tweets, he wrote: “It’s been just over a week since my beautiful @vickywright5459 left this world and it’s only now I feel strong enough to share my feelings.

I want to thank everyone for their support and expressions of love and kindness you have shown me and Vicky’s family and loved ones…”

He continued: “To think we will never hear her voice to hear laughter look into her beautiful eyes see her smile to hold her and to kiss her is devastating and so incredibly painful.

“She will be in my thoughts and in my heart forever,” he wrote.

“She was my Schluffe and I loved her and always will.” He followed this with the broken heart emoji.

He concluded by posting a stunning black and white image of Vicky accompanied by the words: “I will miss you so very much and I will love you forever.

“RIP my beautiful Schluffe. No more pain darling. No more pain,” followed by a love heart emoji and an x.

Actress Vicky, 63, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which is difficult to detect until it reaches an advanced stage.

She only revealed her diagnosis days before she lost her battle.

Her father, Wolverhampton Wanderers and England footballer Billy Wright also battled the disease.

He passed away in September 1994 aged 70, just months after his diagnosis.
