Want to learn how to grill corn on the cob perfectly? Look to none other than celebrity chef Bobby Flay. The high-earning Food Network star uses three easy steps to make “perfectly grilled corn.”
Bobby Flay uses a ‘simple 3-step process’ for ‘perfectly grilled corn’
Flay shared 10 pieces of knowledge about grilling with FN Dish while promoting Barbecue Addiction: Bobby’s Basics in June 2014. Luckily for everyone at home who may not possess as much grilling knowledge as Flay, his steps for grilling corn are simple and easy to follow.
“My signature technique for perfectly grilled corn is a simple three-step process,” he said. Step one is to “pull back the husk and remove the silks.” Step two: “Re-cover the corn with the husk and soak the ears in water for about 20 minutes.” Finally, step three: “Fire up the grill and place the corn directly on the grates so it gets a nice charred flavor and color.”
“Just a little bit of extra effort will result in a big payoff — the juiciest and crunchiest corn ever,” Flay added.
