Bono’s ONE Campaign Launches ‘Pandemica’ Series Highlighting Importance Of Covid Vaccines

The ONE Campaign, the global health and anti-poverty organization co-founded by Bono, has launched an animated web series titled “Pandemica” to raise awareness and explain the critical importance of getting coronavirus vaccines to all countries as quickly as possible.

Those who have lent their voices to the series include Bono, Penélope Cruz, Danai Gurira, and David Oyelowo.

It is estimated that less than 1 percent of vaccine doses administered globally have gone to people in low-income countries, while a handful of wealthy countries have enough vaccines to inoculate their populations and still have more than 1 billion doses left over.

“Pandemica” was illustrated by artist Andrew Rae with animation by Titmouse and music and sound design by Father. The series was created and produced in partnership with Hive.

The series can be watched on the ONE website as well as the ONE Campaign’s YouTube page.

“If this vaccine isn’t everywhere, then this pandemic isn’t going anywhere,” Bono told Rolling Stone.
