Boosie Badazz Thinks R. Kelly Should Get Lesser Sentence

In a series of posts on his Twitter account, the Baton Rouge rapper expresses his outrage over the disgraced RnB star’s 30-year prison sentence, likening it to a ‘death sentence.’

AceShowbiz -Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie) is royal defender of R. Kelly. The Baton Rouge rapper weighed in on the R&B superstar’s 30-year prison sentence in his federal sex trafficking case in New York, taking to Twitter to publicly defend the disgraced star.

In a series of tweets, Boosie expressed his outrage, likening the sentence to a “death sentence.” The controversial rapper admitted that he didn’t condone Kelly’s behavior, but he believed that giving him 30-year prison term was too much for the crimes he was found guilty of. Kelly was found guilty of racketeering, sexual exploitation of a child and sex trafficking.

“People getting 15/20 years for murder n he get 30!! Yes he was wrong af for manipulating young girls n sexing them but he didn’t kill anyone, aggravated rape anyone,” Boosie noted. “N no blame on the parents who knew everything. Resentence this man!! College professors get probation for this s**t.”

In another post, the hip-hop star suggested that the 55-year-old should be receiving help instead of sitting behind bars. “Get this man some help n some jail time but don’t give him a death sentence ,30 years!!” he opined. “Maybe he can one get out one day n warn these young girls about older predators n make a difference ?but 30 years like Come on world!!”

Boosie Badazz defended R. Kelly after he was given 30-year prison sentence.

Victims took the stand during the court hearing on Wednesday, June 29. They recounted how they were sexually and physically abused by Kelly. “You degraded me, humiliated me, and broke my spirit,” one woman said as she recalled an incident when she was forced to perform oral sex on Kelly. “I hope you go to jail for the rest of your life. I feel sorry for you.”

Judge Ann M. Donnelly said, “The public has to be protected from behaviors like this. These crimes were calculated and carefully planned and regularly executed for almost 25 years.” She added, “You taught them that love is enslavement and violence.”

Meanwhile, this wasn’t the first time for Boosie to share his opinion on Kelly’s crimes. Last December, the “Heartfelt” rapper claimed that he believed that the singer’s victims exaggerated their stories.

“All that s**t, seducing and kidnapping and all this s**t in somebody house, if you leave a b***h at the house and you go on tour for two weeks and she don’t go nowhere, that b***h ain’t been kidnapped,” Boosie said at the time.

She added, “She waiting on daddy to come home. You know, a b***h ain’t been kidnapped. B***h ain’t been sexualized if she been in the bed with three, four women. You know, she hasn’t been taken advantage of, because she is willing. She is willing. He just f**ked up on the age part…if he did it. I’m not saying he’s guilty or if he did do it, it’s because of the age. The rest of that s**t, they exaggerating, bro.”
