The ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ alum, who came out as lesbian in December 2020, reveals that she wants to focus on her ‘LGBTQIA+ work and sobriety’ instead of her drama with Gina.
AceShowbiz –Braunwyn Windham-Burke wasn’t bothered by Gina Kirschenheiter‘s recent diss. When addressing drama between the two, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” alum said that her former co-star’s opinion was unnecessary.
The 44-year-old, who came out as lesbian last December, offered her two cents in a new interview with Page Six. “I try not to respond to anything my former co-workers say about me unless it’s absolutely necessary – and so far it hasn’t been,” she said.
“I am continuing to focus on LGBTQIA+ work and sobriety… I am so excited to be getting involved in speaking about sobriety across America,” the mother of seven added. “Tomorrow I will be partnering with American Addiction Centers to have some real conversations… This is the direction I’m going – away from the drama and toward healing.”
Less than a week prior, Gina called out Braunwyn for allegedly ditching her friendship with Noella Bergener following her “RHOC” firing. “As soon as Braunwyn found out that she was no longer a part of this [show] and Noella was, Braunwyn just threw her out,” Gina told Page Six. “Noella was hurt by it. And then I was like, ‘Yeah, well, Braunwyn sucks like that.’ “
The Long Island native, who has been feuding with Braunwyn since season 15 of “RHOC”, also shared that she got closer with Noella over their respective beef with Braunwyn. “I felt like [we were] at ground level,” she pointed out.
“I still don’t know what’s going on with Braunwyn. I still feel bad for Braunwyn. I really do,” Gina went on explaining. “I have from the beginning. And I really do wholeheartedly hope that her children are OK and everything’s OK there.”
In a separate interview with Us Weekly, Gina confessed that she didn’t regret her “sloppy chihuahua” remark to describe Braunwyn. “Not at all,” the 37-year-old stated when asked about the matter.
