In scenes worthy of a newsletter from Lady Whistledown herself, Bridgerton's stars have been spotted filming series two to the delight of fans.
Period drama Bridgerton became one of Netflix's biggest-ever hits when it launched in 2020, so fans have been eagerly awaiting a second season.
Now, we can be sure that filming is definitely picking up pace as the cast has been seen in costume in south East London for a shoot.
Phoebe Dynevor, who plays Daphne, was spotted on set for the first time on Thursday.
She looked beautiful as she filmed scenes for series two of the show, wearing an ivory gown and matching elbow-length gloves.
She had her hair up in a beautiful up-do as she carefully made her way down the steps of the Bridgerton household and into a waiting carriage.
The day before, on Wednesday, actors and crew arrived at Greenwich Old Naval College to take advantage of the beautiful, historic surroundings for filming on location.
Onlookers spotted Jessica Madsen back in character as Cressida Cowper, who was a rival of Daphne's during the first series.
Jessica looked stunning in a pink floral gown and was joined by series newcomers Melissa Advani as Lady Eaton and Priya Kansara as Miss Eaton.
The mother and daughter characters were seen looking closely at a letter assumed to be another gossipy update.
A horsedrawn carriage was also featured in the scenes, with horses lining up along the driveway.
The Old Naval College looks like a favourite with Netflix productions as it was also used as a filming location for The Crown.
Bridgerton fans have been disappointed to learn that Rege-Jean Page, who starred as the Duke of Hastings in series one, would not be returning for another run.
He announced his departure on Instagram, writing: "The ride of a lifetime.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure and a privilege to be your Duke. Joining this family – not just on screen, but off screen too.
“Our incredibly creative and generous cast, crew, outstanding fans – it’s all been beyond anything I could have imagined. The love is real and will just keep growing.”
However, he and the show's creators said that had always been the plan and that series two would focus on Daphne's brother Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and his search for a wife.
We've also been promised a storyline involving Daphne and Simon's new baby, although fans have a long wait to find out what that is as series two isn't expected to land on Netflix until 2022.
