The sons of basketball icons LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal are denied entrance at a Hollywood nightclub, where the ‘Icy Girl’ raptress celebrates her 30th birthday.
AceShowbiz -Even nepo babies sometimes have to taste the limits of their privilege. Bronny James and Shareef O’Neal were recently turned down from a birthday party held by Saweetie in West Hollywood.
Per TMZ’s report, the sons of basketball icons LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal turned up at Hollywood nightclub Poppy where the “Icy Girl” raptress hosted a soiree to celebrate her 30th birthday on Monday night, July 3. In photos obtained by the site, they were seen conversing with some men in black, possibly security, in a calm manner.
But after some time, neither Bronny nor Shareef was able to get through the front door. They were reportedly with a group of friends and no one got in. They eventually walked away from the establishment, looking dispirited as they kept their heads down.
Sources with direct knowledge to the situation claim that Bronny, who is a college basketball player for the USC Trojans of the Pac-12 Conference, was denied entrance because he’s 18 years old. The legal drinking age in the United States is 21 and it’s obvious that Poppy is a place that serves alcohol.
Meanwhile, Shareef, who also follows in the footsteps of his father and currently plays for the NBA G League Ignite of the NBA G League, is 23 years old, so it remains a question as to why he was also turned down from the party.
Saweetie actually turned 30 years old on Sunday, July 2, but she didn’t throw the party until Monday. At the bash, she was joined by her boyfriend YG as the pair were seen walking hand in hand when leaving the club.
On Monday, Saweetie also shared photos to mark her birthday. In the Instagram pics, she rocked a sexy dress which she seemingly wore to the party while posing in her kitchen. She was seen blowing candles on her birthday cake with a huge bouquet of flowers sitting on the countertops.
