Brooke Vincent has detailed her "heartbreak" after her son Mexx was ignored by some "bigger boys" during a recent shopping trip.
In a post shared to her Instagram account on Wednesday, the former Coronation Street star revealed that she took the two year old on a trip to get some "big boy pants" in preparation for potty training.
However, the 29 year old, who said that welcoming two babies in less than two years was "definitely enough", said that it was her sweet son's interaction with other boys that upset her.
Sharing an adorable picture of her cuddling up to Mexx at the shopping centre, Brooke began: "Today we went to get Mexxs big boy underpants!! I made a huge fuss on the aisle explaining these are what big boys wear!"
The soap star continued: "After we finished choosing a couple of "bigger" boys walked past, I then watched Mexx notice them and take his new "bing" pants out of the basket and hold them in the boys eye line.
"They just carried on walking past none the wiser!! My heart broke twice over at that moment!"
Brooke said that she "even contemplated giving the boys £1 each to walk back past and make a fuss."
She went on to seek some guidance, adding: "Let's the potty training games begin.. any advice welcome."
Brooke's long-term partner, footballer Kean Bryan, found the incident to be amusing as he left two crying with laughter face emojis.
However, Brooke's former Corrie co-star Shobna Gulati responded with some advice, saying: "Potty training … well if I remember it's two steps forward one back but it eventually happens.
"I think boys take a bit more time and lots of patience from you but that's my experience … then suddenly it's all fine!!"
Brooke welcomed her first son Mexx into the world in October 2019, before giving birth to son Monroe in May this year.
She recently revealed that she's not currently planning to have any more children and that two is "definitely enough" after welcoming two babies in less than two years.
The actress' comments came during a fan Q&A on her Instagram Stories when a follower asked her: "Are you going to have anymore babies?"
Brooke replied: "I mean two is definitely enough at the moment! Especially with the age gap that they are!! I need to have a couple full nights sleep before I make an executive decision".
