Buckingham Palace aides ask Can Prince Harrys book be stopped? amid fears over content

Buckingham Palace advisers have been asking if it's possible to stop Prince Harry from publishing his memoirs, amid fears the book may end up containing damaging information, according to reports.

As King Charles' reign has began, advisers are said to have developed a strategy to ensure his first 100 days as Monarch go smoothy.

And now, a friend of the new King has been quoted as telling The Times: "The question inside the Palace is: 'Can the book be stopped?'.

"It may be that even Harry can’t stop it at this stage, but the feeling at the very top is that there’s no good that can come of airing grievances in public."

Lawyers to the Royal family are among the millions of people worldwide who are waiting to see the much-anticipated memoirs.

Last year, Harry, 37, announced plans for his tell-all book, which will focus on his time as a young royal living in the United Kingdom all the way up to becoming a dad-of-two now living in Los Angeles.

At the time, Harry released a statement that said: "I'm writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become.

"I've worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think,” he added.

But, last month it was said that Prince Harry could end up dropping his much-talked about autobiography after reuniting with the Royal Family following the death of his dearest grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince Harry has been put under pressure to put his tell-all book, which is meant to come out this year, on hold in honour of his father, King Charles III.

Coming to the King's aide was Former Good morning Britain host Piers Morgan, who urged the Duke of Sussex to cancel his tell-all book in “honour” of King Charles III.

Piers 57, who is known to be very outspoken, has insisted that Harry should pull the plug on his book, following his promise to the new King.

Writing for the New York Post, the TalkTV presenter said: "If this book is as bad as the palace fears, all hell will break loose when it’s published, and the ensuing furore could depth-charge King Charles III’s reign before it’s even gotten going".
