Celebrity SAS’ Maisie Smith supported by boyfriend Max George as gruelling show continues

Former EastEnders actress Maisie Smith and The Wanted singer Max George have shared a few sweet pictures of each other this summer as their romance continues to blossom since was confirmed last month.

And last night Max, 34, took to Instagram stories to show support for his girlfriend Maisie, 21, who is taking part in the new series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The singer posted the official photo of Maisie dressed in her SAS clothes and captioned it: "Got this."

The caption read: "Yours" with a black heart to which Max had commented: "Always." He also posted the same image and captioned it: "Mine."

Maisie added the comment: "My world."

Maisie and Max confirmed their romance last month after the pair were spotted holding hands. They also recently went Instagram official with Maisie writing "@MaxGeorge" with a love heart in her bio and Max sharing her Instagram handle in his.

The pair has got close since Max's split from girlfriend Stacey Giggs, the ex-wife of former Manchester United footballer, Ryan Giggs.

According to The Sun, Max revealed in a tattoo session at INK'D in Fulham, London that him and Maisie had moved in together. He also reportedly said that he was going to surprise Maisie by getting a tattoo.

"She will just have to wait and see. I have shown a few designs and that but nothing, not that big. She likes tattoos, I've got a few already so it should be a nice surprise," Max reportedly said.

"I have wanted this for years, it's not about anyone in particular, it's not overly meaningful. It's just the mix of the lion, I love lions and the rose, which matches the first tattoo I ever got."

Max's new relationship comes after he split from his ex girlfriend Stacey Giggs, 43, for the second time.

Last week, he posted the promotional SAS photo of Maisie dressed in a dark green long-sleeved top alongside camo trousers with a water bottle attached to her hip and told his 337,000 followers: "You're my winner already @maisiesmithofficial," with a red heart emoji.

Maisie reciprocated the display of affection and went on to share the post to her own story.

The smitten pair are rumoured to have moved in together, as they were spotted purchasing a variety of soft furnishings and homeware items in central London.

Max and Maisie both featured on the The Only Way Is Essex live tours together, before also taking part in the Strictly Presents: Keeeep Dancing! Shows over the summer.

They first met when they competed in the 18th series of Strictly in 2020, which took part in the height of the Covid lockdown.

The former EastEnders actress came finished as runner-up with partner Gorka Marquez behind winners Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse.

C elebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins' second episode last night got off to a dramatic start as TOWIE's Pete Wicks was knocked unconscious.

He said he was “truly gutted” to be medically withdrawn from after he knocked himself unconscious and broke his ribs during a challenge.

The Only Way Is Essex star was seen floating face down in the sea in the shocking scene which aired on Sunday, after jumping from a helicopter with reality star Ashley Cain in a helo-cast task.

Rescue swimmers raced to help the 33-year-old, flipping him over in the water as the concerned recruits were heard saying from the shoreline: “Someone’s struggling.”

After swimming to shore, Wicks told a medic: “I winded myself and passed out, all my ribs are quite painful and my head is banging.”

He later said: “I had no worries about that challenge, which is the weirdest thing. My strongest thing is probably swimming.

“I genuinely thought this would be the challenge for me to show what I f****** got and I got it wrong, I got it very wrong. I think my leg got a little bit caught in the bag and I went straight down onto the bag, knocked myself out and broke my ribs.

“I felt dazed and confused. I was struggling to move my upper body. Basically, I think where I’d hit the bag, and I think just the impact of being unconscious and everything else, I was very confused.

“I didn’t really know exactly what was going on and even moving my arms was quite painful, just because the pressure that was on my ribs and everything, so it just wasn’t nice. It was just a strange, strange experience.”

Following his accident, the Channel 4 show’s chief medical officer medically withdrew Wicks because he needed to have a chest x-ray.
