Former Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton recently revealed an embarrassing incident she was involved in with police before she shot to fame on the show.
The 38 year old worked as a glamour model before appearing on the hit reality series and went to lengths to try and establish herself in the industry.
Chantelle asked her mum to help her at one point by taking photographs of her posing without any clothes on – in public no less.
The Big Brother star had her heart set on a Page 3 competition and had hoped the racy snaps — which were taken in the park — would help her with a way into glamour modelling.
However, Chantelle and her mum were busted by police, the star confessed, bringing the daring shooting session to an abrupt end.
"You had to send these pictures into the paper, and I asked my mum to drive me to the woods not far from my house,” the ex model told Daily Star.
"We had this throwaway camera and my mum is clicking away. Then all of a sudden a police car drives into the park and my mum looked at me and I looked at her.
"Then the police officer wound down his window and was like 'can I ask you what is going on, please?"
In reflection of her time pursing glamour modelling, Chantelle realised that she wanted to prove to an abusive ex boyfriend that she could make it on her own without him and could break free from his controlling ways.
"I look back now and the only reason I wanted to do that was because I had a really controlling ex and he was really nasty to me and he made me feel inferior to all of these girls,” the reality star continued.
“it was like kind of an 'I'll show you' thing.”
Chantelle recalled being left majorly embarrassed by the police interruption as she was continued to be questioned in the woods whilst only partially wearing underwear.
“I was literally dying and standing there with just the bottom half of my underwear on and my mum was rambling on trying to get the words out and explain,” the CBB champion added as she vowed that she wouldn’t be returning to glamour modelling again.
"[My] glamour modelling days are well and truly over."
