While talking of the podcast, Alan spoke candidly of how the process has helped him cope during the pandemic.
He explained to the Virgin Radio host: “With Chatty Man finishing, in the pandemic we’ve all sat down and had the good old think and I realised how much I just like chatting to people.
“I’m no Michael Parkinson but I just love chatting and finding out about people so this podcast really helped me through the whole pandemic and I actually enjoy this.”
