Christine McGuinness has missed her train to London, where she is set to appear at the National Television Awards tonight, after admitting her anxiety over attending the awards.
The 34 year old mum of three took to her Instagram stories to thank her followers for their "gorgeous comments" regarding her recent honesty in videos posted to stories about her trepidation about the NTAs, following her split from Paddy McGuinness after 11 years together.
She said: "I've just realised. I've been thinking of all the stressy, negative stuff, when actually I'm going to go and see people I haven't seen in ages and just have a good laugh.
"So I was really happy and excited today and then I've missed my train to London," as she looked sheepish.
She continued: "I haven't really got any concept of time and this does happen a lot. I'm not great with trains anyway. The trains are really busy because there's been strikes on and because of the NTAs as well.
"I don't know what I'm gonna do right now but I am going to find a way to get there. I'm not panicking," before she conceded: "Maybe a little bit."
In her previous posts, Christine told her 680k followers: "I'm going to the NTAs tomorrow – I'm a nominee for the documentary me and Patrick made with our children.
"I'm really anxious. I'm quite nervous just because of everything – obviously it's not the best situation, but I haven't done anything wrong.
"I know what a big difference the documentary has made and I know how hard the whole team worked on it so I'm going to go and try and hold my head up high and just enjoy the night."
It doesn't look like Christine will need to worry about bumping into her ex Paddy though, as a source told The Sun: "Paddy is staying away and focusing on work, letting Christine bask in the glory of being nominated for the doc, which meant so much to her.
"If they both showed up there would be too much focus on their relationship and they want to be respectful."
Their documentary, entitled Paddy and Christine McGuinness: Our Family and Autism, has been nominated for an NTA.
It follows the couple as they talk to experts about the condition and how it affects the lives of those living with it, as they themselves have experience with it.
All three of Paddy and Christine's children, Penelope Patricia McGuinness, Felicity Rose McGuinness and Leo Joseph McGuinness, have been diagnosed with autism.
The couple announced their split in July, but they continue to co-parent their children together.
