Dan Walker, 44, revealed to one lucky Instagram follower that he’s in the process of writing a new book, following the success of his Remarkable People novel. The BBC Breakfast presenter has been a busy bee over the past few months, having also just finished a stint on Strictly Come Dancing, and fans couldn’t wait to find out what he’s got planned for his next book.

Dan made the announcement on Instagram, after he shared a series of photos of him and his adorable pooch Winnie, out for a walk in the frosty sunshine.
He captioned the snaps: “1: Human. 2: Dog. 3: Video of human & dog.
“Have a lovely Thursday!”
The TV star also posted a video, saying: “Good morning! It’s one of those amazing days to be out and about nice and early crispy grass, sun shining, bit chilly,” he smiled as he turned the camera towards his dog.
“Winnie’s out and about, you enjoying your walk Win?” he whistled as she stood to attention.
“She loves it!” Dan continued.
“Have a tremendous Thursday!”
Rushing to the comments section, his followers also wished him a good morning, with user trishquirke penning: “Beautiful pictures. Finished your book Remarkable People last night.
“It is an amazing book and full of wonderful stories. Thank you for writing it. Loved the stories of Terrence, Tony and Figen.”

Dan was quick to respond, before giving the user the good news.
“@trish.quirke thank you Trish. Glad you enjoyed it. I am now writing another one,” he teased.
Recently, the BBC presenter expressed worries over his appearance as he posted himself coming out of the sauna.
He also admitted he was struggling to sleep.
While Dan reveaed he was having a “lovely” time in the photo, but the snap told a different story.
The presenter could be seen pulling a scared-looking pose to the camera.
He captioned the snap: “Hoping for a good night’s sleep after this.
“Ready Sweat Go.”
He added: “First sauna of the year.
“No idea why I look so terrified.
“It was LOVELY.”
BBC Breakfast airs at 6am on BBC One.
