Love Island star Dani Dyer has been seen getting to grips with bringing up six month old Santiago on her own since her ex boyfriend Sammy Kimmence was sent to jail.

On Wednesday, The Sun reported Dani, 24, was seen multitasking as a doting mum as she "spoke on the phone" while taking Santiago for a walk in his pushchair.

The Love Island winner of 2018 was later spotted filling up her car for petrol before setting off home. It comes after Dani had one of the "worst weeks of her life" as sources told new the reality of splitting from Sammy Kimmence, 24, and raising Santiago as a single mum is starting to "hit home".

The new mum of one split from Sammy just two weeks ago when he was sent to prison for three years for fraud.

The pair were dating for 10 months before previously splitting in March last year, but rekindled their relationship during the first lockdown.

And, Dani never thought she would be raising her six-month-old son Santiago – who she welcomed in January with the stockbroker – on her own.

“It’s been a hard week for Dani," they claimed. "She says it’s been one of the worst weeks of her life."

They went on to explain: "The reality of what’s happened is starting to hit home now.

"It was all a bit of a blur for her but it’s started to really kick in now that she’s facing life as a single mum."

The source added that she has had support from her family, including dad Danny Dyer, as she continues to put on a brave face.

“Her family are so supportive and have been rallying around her – but that doesn’t replace having a partner by your side," the source shared.

"She’s finding it tough. She’s a single mum and she now has to bring Santi up on her own – which is something she never thought would happen."

The source then said Dani hoped she, Sammy and little Santi would have been a close family like her and her parents.

"The Dyers are a close-knit family and Dani hoped to have that with her own family.”

It comes after Dani said she "can't believe" how quick time has gone as she celebrated Santiago's six month milestone on Instagram.

"6 whole months of loving you baby boy…can’t believe how quick the time is going, you’ve made me realise how precious time is, and what it’s like to not have a lay in anymore," she said before adding a laughing face emoji. "Mummy loves you more than words could ever describe."
