Foo Fighters‘ frontman Dave Grohl has revealed that the band will release a new metal EP, recorded under the moniker Dream Widow, digitally on March 25.
According to Variety, a physical release of the EP will follow later in 2022.
The metal album was recorded as the fictional band Dream Widow for the Foo Fighters’ horror-comedy film Studio 666.
In the horror comedy, Foo Fighters rent a mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll history to record their highly anticipated 10th album . Once in the house, Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band.
The EP, featuring the recently released “March of the Insane,” is part of the project Dream Widow were recording before the chaos started.
