Friends star David Schwimmer, 54, has broken his silence on rumours that he and his former Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston, 52, are dating. The pair played on-screen lovers Ross Geller and Rachel Green for a decade on the comedy sitcom, and fans have recently been sent wild over speculation that the couple are dating in real life, after the pair admitted that they had feelings for each other while filming the earlier seasons of the programme.

Yesterday, an insider claimed that Jennifer and David had “grown close again” after the Friends reunion “stirred up feelings” between them.
However, a representative for the Madagascar actor has since shot down the rumours, saying that there is “no truth” to any of the claims.
Earlier in the year, the co-stars reunited to film the Friends reunion episode in honour of the show’s 25th anniversary.
Since then, David reportedly flew across the country to visit Jennifer after they both openly discussed their real-life chemistry earlier in the year.
An insider told Closer magazine: “After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there.
“They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA.”
Jennifer and David played Ross and Rachel for a decade, but only recently revealed their true feelings for one another to presenter James Corden.
The star, who hosted the Friends Reunion show, discovered the bombshell about the pair’s “crush” on each other after he probed the cast about whether there had ever been any “off-screen romances”.
He mused: “It’s inconceivable to me that there weren’t perhaps off-screen romances.”
Jen admitted, “Uh, well. I mean… David?” which prompted him to say, “Yeah,” before she confirmed, “The first season.”
David then explained: “Yeah, the first season we – I had a major crush on Jen.”
The Morning Show actress revealed: “It was reciprocated.”
David continued: “At some point, we were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship, and we never crossed that boundary.”
Following the recent rumours, Jennifer took to Instagram to wish her ex-husband Justin Theroux a happy birthday.
In a series of sweet snaps, the Along Came Polly star told her ex-husband that she “loved him”.
The Friends actress first shared a selfie of her ex on Instagram, with the caption: “Happy birthday JT.”
Jen then followed this up with a shirtless snap of Justin posing for the camera, revealing his chiseled body.
“Truly one of a kind,” the actress captioned the snap, before adding: “Love you!”
The former couple split after two years of marriage and six years of dating in 2017.
Jennifer was previously married to Hollywood star Brad Pitt, while David Schwimmer was married to British artist Zoe Buckman for seven years, before the pair divorced in 2017.
