Dawson's Creek star Joshua Jackson looks completely unrecognisable since appearing on the popular show.
The 44 year old is best known for his role in the hit TV series which ran from 1998 to 2003. Now the star has been busy shooting scenes for the reboot of the classic 1980s psychosexual thriller film Fatal Attraction.
The actor – who will be taking on Michael Douglas and Glenn Close's iconic roles – was spotted on the beach in Los Angeles sporting a wind-swept mane. As he strolled barefoot across the beach, Joshua wore a pair of denim jeans with cuffed legs and a plain grey top completed with a white button-down shirt.
Running his hand through his salt and pepper locks, the star looked as though he had been putting in some serious work on set after he was reportedly seen on Tuesday 16 August, running along the shore with a Golden Retriever by his side.
It is said that his character's dog accidentally gets loose from his leash at one point during the scene, forcing him to chase the dog down.
Joshua has taken on a number of high-profile roles during his career, including Dawson's Creek, Fringe, The Affair, Little Fires Everywhere and Dr Death, while he also played Blaine Tuttle in the 1999 drama Cruel Intentions.
Joshua is married to actress Jodie Turner-Smith – they were first seen holding hands in November 2018, just one month after they "were all over each other" at Usher's 40th birthday party, according to US Weekly.
"Super smitten and gazing into each other's eyes as they danced together the whole night," US Weekly's insider said of Joshua and Jodie at Usher's October 2018 birthday bash.
Weeks later, they also rang in New Year's together in Nicaragua. Joshua gushed about his vacation to the tropical country while sharing a video of him spending time with professional surfer Kevin Cortez on his Instagram page.
According to reports, in August 2019 the pair were seen picking up a marriage licence and were seen wearing rings three months later. People later confirmed their marriage in December 2019.
And in April the following year, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter called Janie. The proud father Joshua then shared a cute tribute to his wife on her first Mother's Day in May 2020.
He sweetly wrote: “Dear Jodie, On this most special of mothers days I want to thank you for being the light that you are."
