Drake Jumps To No. 1 On Billboard Artist 100

Canadian rapper Drake has jumped from 17th position to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Artist 100.

The spike marks Drake’s return to the top spot on the chart for the first time since August 2018.

The surge was aided by three of his recently released singles debuting in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the same week, thereby making history as the first artist to have accomplished this feat.

Taken from his latest EP, Scary Hours 2, released on March 5, the songs “What’s Next,” “Wants and Needs” featuring Lil Baby, and “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” with Rick Ross currently occupy the No. 1, 2, and 3 positions on the chart, respectively.
