Duran Duran are set to debut their new song at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on May 23.
The British band, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, will be performing remotely from London. Blur‘s Graham Coxon will be collaborating with the band.
BTS, The Weeknd and P!nk are also set to perform at the upcoming awards show.
Duran Duran first made it to the Billboard charts in April 1981 with “Planet Earth”/”Girls on Film,” a double-sided hit on the Dance Club Songs chart.
On the Billboard Hot 100, the band has two No. 1s, “The Reflex” and “A View to a Kill,” to its name. Overall, the group has had 21 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, including “Hungry Like the Wolf,” “Rio,” “Ordinary World” and “I Don’t Want Your Love.”
Duran Duran’s last album was Paper Gods in 2015. The album debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200. The band has six top 10 albums to date.
The Billboard Music Awards, hosted by Nick Jonas, will broadcast live on NBC from L.A.’s Microsoft Theater on May 23 at 8 p.m. ET/5 PT.
