Eamon Holmes attacks Phillip Schofield again even though hes not supposed to criticise

Eamonn Holmes has once again taken Phillip Schofield to task live on GB News.

When Phillip's revelatory public statement was released at the end of May, Eamon, 63, made his personal opinions crystal clear in a series of interviews with Dan Wootton.

Phillip took part in his own chat with BBC's Amol Rajan, too, yet his claims have been rubbished by his former This Morning colleague, Eamon.

Turning his attention to Holly Willoughby's This Morning return on Monday, 5 June, Eamonn started by saying: "She's been on a two-week half-term break again after the departure of her former co-host, who admitted to having an affair with a younger male colleague and then continued to tell lots of lies.

"[There's] lots of things he's said, which we're not supposed to criticise incase he harms himself, but there you go he still thinks he can get on and tell lies.

"Lies, lies, lies, lies, lies," reiterated Eamonn.

In Phillip's conversation with Amol, 39, he said: "Last week, if my daughters hadn't been there then I wouldn’t be here. And they've guarded me and won’t let me out of their sight – it’s like a weird numbness.

“I know that’s a selfish point of view. But you come to a point where you just think, how much are you supposed to take? If all of those people that write all that stuff, do they ever think that there’s actually a person at the other end?"

Referring to the late Love Island host who took her own life three years ago, he continued: "I think I understand how Caroline Flack felt. It is relentless, and it is day after day, after day after day.

"If you don’t think that that is going to have the most catastrophic effect on someone’s mind – do you want me to die? Because that’s where I am. I have lost everything."

Prior to that, Eamonn told GB News journalist Dan, 40, that Phillip must be "delusional" if he believes toxicity wasn't pervading the This Morning workplace.

"This nonsense that he wrote today about toxicity, but it's a happy place and whatever… holy God, what planet does this man live on?" he questioned.

"He created an atmosphere where people hated him, that people would avoid [him and Holly] in the corridor, he didn't look at anybody, he didn't know anybody's name."

The veteran presenter then suggested: "Holly doesn't know people's names, either. This is legendary within the production teams, that how distant they are and how they just don't care.

"Not only should Phillip go but Holly should follow him out the door."
