Samantha Womack has shared an update on her cancer treatment and thanked her fans for all of their love and support.
The former EastEnders actress, 49, announced that she'd been diagnosed with breast cancer following the death of Grease actress Olivia Newton-John, who passed away last month 30 years after she'd first been given her diagnosis.
After recently revealing that she had undergone an operation, Samantha has now revealed that she's due to start chemotherapy treatment.
The soap star posted a video on Instagram, where she told her fans: "I just want to say thank you to everyone who has been sending me love after I shared my story about battling with breast cancer."
"So just to tell you where I'm at, I've had my operation – had a lumpectomy and lymph node removal- and I am now going to start my first session of chemotherapy tomorrow," the 49 year old said.
Samantha then went on to thank all of her fans for their support following her initial announcement, saying: "But I have read all of your stories and messages. They've blown me away, genuinely
"I just wanted to say thank you, I'm very humbled by the fact that everyone has reached out and… yeah, so I'll keep you posted. But yeah, just a huge thank you and sending you all lots of love."
The star's followers and fellow celeb pals flocked to wish her well, including fellow EastEnders star Rita Simons, 45.

The actress, who portrayed Samantha's on-screen sister Roxy Mitchell, wrote: "I love you so very much my absolute soldier," alongside a red heart emoji.
Others followed suit, with fellow EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite, who played Mel Owen, commenting: "Oh darling. Sending you love, light and positive energy. You are so strong and I know you will override all your obstacles."
"Sending so much love to you Sam," TV star Denise Van Outen said, while Natalie Appleton added: "Love you," along with a row of red heart emojis.
Samantha shared the devastating news that she's facing breast cancer as she penned a tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John in September.
Sharing a snap of them both together, Samantha wrote: "This was the most magical of evenings. Olivia and Chloe had come to see Grease in London and we had dinner together afterwards.
"I was so excited and in awe, she was my childhood. I now start my own battle with this disease and am left feeling deeply moved."
