EastEnders star Jonny Labey reveals he’s dating Hollywood star after loved-up snaps

Former EastEnders actor Jonny Labey confirmed speculation that he is dating a Hollywood star as he shared loved-up snaps of them together.

The actor arrived on the square back in 2015 as Paul Coker, with the hairdresser going on to date Harry Reid’s Ben Mitchelle, a role now played by Max Bowden.

His character was killed in a homophobic attack in 2016 in a storyline that was widely applauded by fans for shedding light on a serious, real-world issue.

The 30 year old actor has now confirmed that he is dating Hannah Ami, who has featured in projects like 2019’s Cats alongside Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, Dame Judi Dench and James Corden.

This is the first public relationship the TV star has had since his breakup with fiancée Chrissy Brooke back in 2020.

Taking to Instagram at the end of March, Jonny shared pictures from a mini-break as they swaddled themselves in matching cosy dressing gowns.

“How the other half live… we're happy we got robes and a choice of flip flops or slippers!” he wrote in the caption, with the post accumulating nearly 1k likes.

Reacting to the post, Hannah wrote: “Cosy cosy.”

“Cutttttteeeeee,” another person wrote, as a third said, “Yessss.”

Back in 2018, Jonny confirmed his engagement to long-term girlfriend Chrissy in a touching Instagram post beside a picture of the dazzling ring.

“She said YES… a while back! It was obvious from the moment we met,” he wrote in the caption. “She's the perfect balance of kind, beautiful and crazy that I'll love for the rest of my life! I love you @chrissy_brooke Here's to many more years.”

Following his exit from Walford, and while reflecting on his character’s graphic death, Jonny said: “It wasn't my choice, but I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason.

“It's sad as I was just getting into it and he's [Paul] just sort of arrived and started to get interesting.

“Like any other job, it's always about the bigger picture and all you can do, is do the part justice.”

Outside of the BBC soap, Jonny appeared in the LGBTQ+ film, Soft Lad, and he went on to win the competition show Dance Dance Dance.

Jonny also worked on the CBBC talent show Taking The Next Step, The X Factor: Celebrity, Doctors and Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators.
