EastEnders star Ricky Champ has announced he is expecting another baby with his wife Samantha Gilbert.
The 41 year old actor, who plays troubled character Stuart Highway on the popular BBC soap, shared the news on his Twitter page Thursday 6 January.
Ricky posted an image of one of his unborn baby’s scans, which showed the little one’s arms and legs bundled up underneath it.
Over the top of it, the EastEnders favourite, who has featured in a hard-hitting breast cancer storyline on the soap recently, placed a wooden disc that was engraved with: “Baby Champ due July 2022.”
He arranged the sweet announcement with a peach gingham fabric underneath the pictures and some eucalyptus leaves displayed to the side.
Ricky and Samantha got married in 2016 in an intimate wedding ceremony.
They welcomed baby daughter Beatrix a year later.
Fans were over the moon for the star’s new year news, as many shared their congratulations in the comments.
"Fantastic news!! Massive congratulations to all the Champs!xxx,” one person exclaimed.
Another follower gushed: “Wonderful news! Congratulations! A baby brother or sister for Bea, she must be really excited.”
"Huge congratulations to you all! How exciting xx,” a third fan shared.
While a fourth person teased that Stuart Highway’s partner Rainie wouldn’t be “pleased” with the news.
“Congratulations to you and your wife,” the soap fan added.
Ricky is not one to post constantly about his family and personal life, but the star shared an adorable tribute to his wife on their five year anniversary a few months ago.
"Happy Anniversary to my great love. 5 years baby! Xxx," the star posted with a selfie of him and Samantha posing and grinning for the camera.
Ricky also shares family snaps of the trio taking farm park outings and embarking on other adventures.
It comes as the actor had a busy Christmas period taking part in a pantomime of Dick Whittington.
