Ed Sheeran‘s “Bad Habits” has debuted atop the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart. At the same time, Olivia Rodrigo‘s “Good 4 U” tops the Billboard Global 200 for a fifth week.
Sheeran is the first act from the U.K. to top either global tally.
“Bad Habits” also bowed at No. 2 on the Global 200 with 65 million streams and 72,800 sold worldwide.
“Bad Habits,” released on June 25 through Asylum Records, is the lead single off Sheeran’s upcoming fifth studio album. “Bad Habits” debuted at No. 1 in the U.K. last week.
According to Billboard, the two global charts, which it started last September, rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by MRC Data.
The Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the U.S.
