After months of using Zoom video calls for work meetings and family catch-ups, the TV star discovered a useful hack.
Sharing a tweet with the secret trick on Twitter, Emily said Comic Relief producer and radio star Emma Freud had “revolutionised” her life.
Emma’s post confirmed there is a button in settings, which adds a filter to improve your appearance.
Her tweet began: “Apologies if I’m the only person in the UK not to know this… but on a zoom call, if you go to the symbol at the bottom of the screen that says ‘start/stop video’ – press the tiny arrow – then press ‘video settings’ – then press ‘touch up my appearance’, IT MAKES YOU LOOK BETTER!”
Emily seemed delighted to hear the top tip, replying: “Oh my god why did you not mention this six months ago?!
“You revolutionised my life btw with the Bluetooth sunglasses…”(sic) she went on to add.
“What are Bluetooth sunglasses?” celebrity chef Nigella Lawson immediately asked in the comments section of the post.
“Wearables by Bose. (Amazing if you don’t like ear plugs. Or love sunglasses),” the BBC star responded.
