Fans are disturbed by 'disgusting' pic of Harry Hamlin and daughter, more news

‘Cringe’ pic

There are close families and then there’s Harry Hamlin’s family. Fans are feeling very uncomfortable over a viral image of Harry seemingly snuggling up to his 24-year-old daughter, Delilah Belle Hamlin. Although the photo is a month old, as it was taken during New York Fashion Week, the snap recently found its way to Instagram. In the photo, Harry leans into his daughter’s face while his arm is wrapped tightly around her waist. Delilah, meanwhile, stares somewhat seductively into the camera while wearing a sheer top. Social media went nuts after seeing the seemingly provocative pic. “Woah!!!! That’s truly disturbing,” one person said. Page Six collected a slew of critical comments: “This is just wrong;” “Nope. All of the no;” “that’s a little weird;” “Grosses me out;” “Sooo cringe;” and “This is disgusting.” Family first?

Changing school situation

Donda is done for the year… or is it? On Oct. 27, Donda Academy — Kanye West’s unaccredited K-8 private Christian school — announced that it is closing its doors for the rest of the 2022-2023 school year. The shuttering comes amid the fallout from Ye’s antisemitic and admittedly racist words. The move was “effective immediately,” per a message from the school’s principal, who also claimed Donda will reopen next year. About 100 students go to Donda, and roughly half of them are on scholarship. Those not on scholarship paid $15,000 to attend this year. However, just a few hours after the closure, parents received an email claiming the school was reopening, TMZ said. Donda, the email said, is “back and returning with a vengeance!” News of the school closure and reopening come as Ye’s attorney tries to settle his divorce case with Kim Kardashian. According to TMZ, the rapper’s Beverly Hills-based lawyer doesn’t want the case to go to trial, which is currently scheduled for December. The webloid said attorney Nick Salick is trying to work out both a custody and property settlement agreement. Coincidentally, Kanye had recently been adamant that he wanted he and Kim’s four children to attend his Donda Academy… that same school that closed and seemingly reopened within a matter of hours.

Assaulted in street

Former “Saturday Night Live” star Chris Redd was rushed to a hospital after being punched in the face outside a famed comedy club in New York City. The comedian had just gotten out of a car and was about to enter the Comedy Cellar when the assault occurred. Page Six said two men seemed to be waiting for Chris, and one of them and punched him “out of nowhere.” “There was blood everywhere,” Page Six’s source said. TMZ reported that the main assailant — wearing a security guard uniform — snatched Chris’ chain. The suspect ran away but police are investigating. The “SNL” alum was schedule to perform a 15-minute set at the Comedy Cellar.

‘Betrayal’ of trust

In his new book “Waypoints: My Scottish Journey,” which came out on Oct. 25, “Outlander” star Sam Heughan revealed that though he agreed to nudity in his contract when he signed on to play 18th century Scottish Highlands warrior Jamie Fraser in the STARZ series based on Diana Gabaldon’s bestselling book series, he felt producers took things too far early in the show. In the final episodes of the first season, which aired in 2014, his character is raped and tortured by vilainous Captain Jonathan “Black Jack” Randall, played by “The Crown” and “Game of Thrones” star Tobias Menzies. Producers insisted on shooting Sam’s genitals, he explained in the book, despite his discomfort. “This wasn’t a moment where I felt that being naked would add to the horror of what Jamie undergoes in that castle dungeon as a form of punishment, subjugation and humiliation. I pushed back, reasoning that nudity sexualised a horrific experience for my character, and it sparked quite a debate,” Sam wrote, as reported by DailyMail.com on Oct. 27. “Creative conversations are a feature of all productions, good art is made by questioning the truth and we all want to get it right.” Producers eventually agreed to drop the full frontal shots but still showed Sam’s character naked and battered from behind. “Even though, thankfully the nude shots ended on the cutting room floor, it was a harrowing, exhausting experience,” Sam wrote, explaining that he doesn’t think the genital nudity would even be filmed today. “Times have changed,” he wrote. “The c*** shot was unnecessary and did betray my trust in the creative team a bit. We don’t need to see the horror to imagine what the characters go through. Imagination is way more powerful.”

Pregnant tales

Hilary Swank surprised her fans a few weeks ago when she announced her pregnancy — with twins! — at the age of 48. For the actress, she always wanted to be a mom, but things never fell into place until now. And, she wasn’t going to force it, she said in a new interview. “I was having a career and not having the right relationship until … four years ago, and all the elements needed to come together and be right,” the “Alaska Daily” star told “Extra.” “It’s just something I thought about even as a young girl. It’s something that was on my mind, so it’s nice to be here and just be pregnant.” Hilary is due on the birthday of her late father. So far, the Oscar winner has had “bouts of morning sickness,” but doing fine otherwise. “My friends tell me when you have double [on the way], it doubles the hormones, doubles the sickness, doubles the everything,” she said.

Broken heart, broken leg

More than just Ashley Judd’s heart was broken after her mother’s suicide death. The actress revealed that she fractured her leg in a “freak accident” while mourning Naomi Judd’s death in April. “Clumsiness is associated with grief,” the actress told Dr. Jonathan Flint, per The Hollywood Reporter. The actress said her leg “healed in two months lickety-split.” “It was what it was,” the “Double Jeopardy” star said. Ashley also broke her leg while hiking in the Democratic Republic of Congo last year. “There were other people in our family, after mom died, who fell down stairs and had accidents. That’s just what mine happened to look like,” she said, adding that the accident “really allowed” her to grieve. In announcing Naomi’s death, her family said that they’d lost the Grammy-winning music icon to “the disease of mental illness.”
