Ferne McCann ‘dividing time’ between UK and Dubai to make new romance work

Ferne McCann has split her time between Dubai and Essex in order to focus on her new romance, it has been reported.

The 31 year old announced that she is in a relationship with Dubai-based boyfriend Lorri Haines earlier this month and has been spotted numerous times since then enjoying quality time with her new partner.

Lorri is involved in property business in Dubai, while Ferne has multiple businesses she manages here in the UK, where she lives with her four year old daughter, Sunday.

After falling hard for each other, it's claimed that Ferne has flown frequently over to Dubai to ensure her new relationship continues to progress, although she has found it “tricky” a source says.

“Lorri and Ferne have fallen head over heels and will do what it takes to make things work,” an insider told The Sun.

“It’s a bit tricky for Ferne to travel all the time because of Sunday but she has already squeezed in one trip this year.

“Lorri is currently in the UK and they have both agreed to go back and forth as much as possible.”

This isn’t the first time Ferne has been in a long-distance partnership, as she dated New York-based Albie Gibbs previously, before ultimately ending the romance because of their space apart from each other.

Discussing the failed relationship, Ferne opened up about how she couldn’t see a future developing between her and Albie despite her having wanted one.

“How can I see a future with someone when I can't physically be with them for the foreseeable future? I was naive to think the long distance thing would be OK,” she said.

“We have broken up and it is proper s**t.

“It sucks to say that I think he was the right guy, and I want to stress this, the right guy at the wrong time.”

Following a string of break-ups, the reality star has remained “a sucker for love” and even put the wish out there last August that she would find the one eventually, keeping up a positive outlook on her romantic future.

“I am such a sucker for love – I love love so much, and of course I want to find my happy ever after,” she told The Sun at the time.
