Ben Shephard, 46, has tweeted to his followers, expressing his regret at having to see his co-star leave after seven years on Good Morning Britain. Erron Gordon is stepping down following his final show as series director.
I’m immensely proud to have been a part of this team from its inception.

The launch director was responsible for the conception of GMB seven and a half years ago.
He tweeted to his 15,900 followers, saying his farewell.
He said: “7.5yrs ago I launched @GMB, tomorrow is my final show as Series Director.
“I’m immensely proud to have been a part of this team from its inception.
“Let’s do this one final time together,” tagging all of his co-stars.
Ben Shepherd then replied to him with a quote tweet, and joked about his working schedule.
Addressing Erron, he said, to his 786,900 followers: “Finally after 7.5 years you’re working your first and last Thursday!! can we have ase.”
GMB first launched on April 28, 2014 on ITV.
The show opened as Susanna Reid introduced the presenters and herself, welcoming the audience to the new show.
She appeared alongside Ben Shephard, Charlotte Hawkins and Sean Fletcher.
Erron Gordon has since been appointed to the role of Executive Creative Director and Head of Studio Output for News UK Broadcasting.
Some fans were very supportive of Erron’s commitment to the show, and expressed this on Twitter.

“ITV are / were lucky to have you. All the best on the next chapter.”
ITV news presenter @SallyBiddulph said: “Erron you are a legend, pure and simple and we will miss you xxx.”
Ben has also recently kept fans updated with news about his painful knee surgery.
The Tipping Point host quipped that his knee looked “sad” and “deflated” in view of his 482,000 followers.
He shared a clip of himself exercising while using a step platform.
Ben jumped from the fitness board and landed on one leg.
He wrote: “Lots of people asking how the knee is so thought I’d post a couple of clips from today.
“It’s incredible how these simple moves take so much concentration and trust in the knee being strong enough.
“It’s getting there though. Just trying to stay patient.”
