Adam Frost is often seen on Gardeners’ World in Monty Don’s absence, but it’s not just his gardening expertise which has garnered fans attention in recent weeks. One viewer took to Twitter to confess her admiration for the 51-year-old host and she wasn’t alone.
Following a recent episode of the show, the viewer commented: “I’ve got a secret crush on Adam Frost from #GardenersWorld.”
The BBC show’s team picked up on the comment and cheekily replied: “It’s OK, your secret’s safe with us.”
The viewer’s post prompted many more Adam admirers to comment.
Another wrote: “I could listen to him read the phone book.”
“Yes! There’s something about his voice,” the first Twitter user replied.
“He is very charismatic,” a third added, while a fourth penned: “Not alone there!”
A fifth commented: “Think my wife has [a crush] too!!”
Unfortunately for his admirers, Adam is off the market and is married to Sulina Frost.
The couple share two sons Jacob and Oakley as well as daughters Abi-Jade and Amber-Lily.
Elsewhere during a recent episode, Adam warned fans about the Government banning people from using peat in their soil.
Peat, also known as turf, is an accumulation of partially decayed vegetation or organic matter.
He told viewers: “You might have read or heard in the press over the last four to six weeks.

“The Government is going to phase out the use of peat.”
He continued: “So if you’re used to gardening with peat and you’ve been doing it for years on end.
“This is now a different material you’ll be working within the long term.
“But, as a gardener, can you garden without peat?”
The presenter added he believes it’s possible as he was ”blown away” by peat-free multi-purpose composts.
Adam returns to screens this evening for the new series of RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival.
The gardener, Joe Swift, Rachel de Thame and Arit Anderson head up the coverage as the annual flower show reopens for 2021.
The event was cancelled last year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival airs tonight on BBC Two at 9pm.
Gardeners’ World is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
