Gemma Owen has reportedly gotten close to polo player Tommy Severn in recent weeks, almost a year after she split up with her former beau Luca Bish.
The Love Island star, who came second to Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti in last year's summer series, has appeared fully focused on building her career since her break-up, which happened three months after leaving the villa.
As well as running her own swimwear company OG Beachwear and becoming an ambassador for PrettyLittleThing, the 20 year old star, who is the eldest daughter of football legend Michael Owen, has long been a competitor in international dressage.
As a result of her love of horses and involvement in the equestrian world, Gemma is said to have met and gotten to know famous polo player Tommy, who also has a "royal connection".
According to The Sun, the pair have been spending time together abroad, and Gemma has been supporting Tommy during his competitions.
“Gemma went to Ibiza to watch Tommy play polo in Ibiza this week," a source told the publication.
“They shared a photo from the same polo club and they’re both passionate about horses.”
OK! has contacted a representative for Gemma for comment.
As well as coming from a famous equestrian family himself, Tommy has even competed against Prince William, the Prince of Wales himself.
The pair were pictured laughing and joking together as well as getting down to business during the Cheltenham Races in 2016.
Gemma and Tommy likely bonded over their shared passion for horses, as as well as competing internationally, the Love Island star also has a huge stables and training area in the grounds at her family's £4million mansion.
It's not the first time Gemma would have dated an athlete, as the reality favourite was in a relationship with Jacques O'Neill before she went on Love Island.
The star was then face with a curveball when Jacques also entered the villa as a bombshell weeks later.
At the time, Gemma was gradually becoming fully committed to Brighton-born fishmonger Luca, 24, and as the weeks went on, the pair became one of the favourites to win the series.
Sadly, despite being crowned runners-up in the final, and later going on to share a family holiday together with Gemma's mum and dad, the relationship didn't last.
Gemma shared a statement to confirm the pair had decided to part ways only three months after the show ended, but Luca later admitted that he wished he'd had time to "process the break-up" in private.
While the equestrian star has kept her love life out of the spotlight since Love Island, reports also emerged in recent months that she was dating ex-Wrexham footballer Cameron Green.
