Aaron Chalmers has revealed his newborn son will be "in and out of surgery for 18-24 months" after announcing his arrival earlier this week.
The Geordie Shore star, 35, and his longterm girlfriend Talia Oatway, 30, announced the arrival of their third son on 25 August, who they have named Oakley Bleu Chalmers.
Aaron, who also shares Romeo, two, and one year old Maddox with Talia, then took to his Instagram Stories to give his followers an update on Oakley and revealed that while he was born healthy, there has been a "few issues".
The dad-of-three started his message by thanking his fans, saying: "Hi everyone I just thought I'd jump on here quickly to give a quick update, me and Talia are overwhelmed with all the messages of congratulations and stuff, I'll explain in a proper Story in a couple of days."
"We've had another healthy boy, another healthy baby boy called Oakley, Oakley Chalmers, weighing six pounds one ounce, unfortunately there's been a few issues with the baby.
"We were in fetal medicine for most of the pregnancy, then we got cleared, unfortunately it wasn't cleared, and it wasn't picked up on the scans, so the little bubba is probably going to be in and out of surgery for the next 18 months to 24 months, so just me and Talia are coming to terms with everything," Aaron then explained.
Fetal medicine, also known as perinatology, is described as "a branch of medicine that focuses on managing health concerns of the mother and fetus prior to, during, and shortly after pregnancy."
He went on to add that he and Talia are currently "letting things soak in" as it has "been a rollercoaster".
"We're not ignoring people, we're just letting things soak in, just taking everything like what the specialists are saying and stuff, it's been a rollercoaster and two days."

However, Aaron did tell his followers that Oakley is healthy and so are his organs. He continued: "The baby's healthy, heart, lungs and all that stuff, but we've just got loads of meeting specialists and just letting people know the plan for the next few months.
"Thank you so much for all your messages, the love hearts the congratulations, but as I said it's been a whirlwind of emotions the last 48 hours, and I'll give a proper update when I know more."
Meanwhile Talia, who is also mum to an eight year old daughter named Siennah from a previous relationship, took to her own Instagram to share a message with her followers.
"Like Aaron explained… I'm not ignoring any messages just so you guys know. I really appreciate everyone's DMs/texts/whatsapps. I'm just trying to process a lot of information," the mum-of-four wrote.
Aaron announced Oakley's arrival on Instagram earlier this week, and he shared a snap of himself cradling the newborn to his Instagram stories.
He pasted a GIF that read "bundle of joy" over the baby's face and wrote on top of the snap: "Baby has arrived early this morning" with four red love heart emojis.
Talia then reposted it to her own Instagram story, writing: "Been a long, hard few days. Couldn't of done it without my man aaron".
