Pete Sandiford and Paige married back in May 2021, and while the 26-year-old rarely mentions his significant other online, as he prefers to keep his love life out of the limelight, he couldn’t help but give fans a glimpse at the couple’s special day.

After reaching the six-month milestone as husband and wife, Pete took to Instagram to share his first (and only) wedding photo.

Happy 6 month wedding anniversary to my best mate

He captioned the post, writing: “Happy 6 month wedding anniversary to my best mate, wife and the best mummy in the world @paigesandiford_”.

The newlyweds can be seen passionately gazing into each other’s eyes as they stroll by the ocean in the heartwarming snap.

Paige stunned in a white bridal gown, with her hair styled into glossy curls, while her partner looked ever-so-smart in his suit and a blue tie.

Pete’s sister Sophie, who also appears on Gogglebox alongside him, was one of the many people who reacted to the Instagram post, stressing that she can’t believe the pair have already been married for half a year.

“Can’t believe how quick it’s gone second best day ever (after Jimmy’s birthday of course) love you both.”

Instagram user, @sarahrowe34, continued: “Lucky man. You seem such a decent chap, good luck to you, lovely photo x”

Another fan, @lise39notyet40, echoed similar words: “How blooming gorgeous do you both look!!!! Here’s to many happy years together and always remember Pete happy wife equals a happy life!!”

Paige kept things going by sharing two photos on her own Instagram page, marking her first time posting on her official account.

The first image is a close-up shot of Pete and Paige smiling at each other, and the second shows another angle of the latter’s gorgeous locks, further revealing that her bridal gown was backless.

She captioned the photos, writing: “22.05.21 When your best friend doubles up as the best husband.”

In February, Pete revealed in an episode of Googlebox that he and Paige were engaged, just two months before his announcement that the pair were expecting their first child together.

Pete had made no mention of his wedding until September, when he dropped the news on the red carpet at the National Television Awards 2021.

“It’s a bit overwhelming,” he said, while discussing being a first-time dad.

“I’ve got it all going on at the mo, [he’s a] cool little lad, he takes after his mum, not me.”

Gogglebox went on to win the award for Best Factual Programme.

Just a few days later, Paige had more joyful news to share with fans: the couple had welcomed their baby boy, Jimmy, though she opted not to confirm when their bundle of joy was born.

The little one’s name was not shared up until earlier this month when Pete posted a photo from his bathroom with his son.

“Jimmy wishing his daddy a happy birthday @paigesandiford_ @sophiesandiford,” the TV personality quipped.

Fans clearly couldn’t get enough of Jimmy in the hilarious snap, with Pete and Sophie’s relative and comedian Paul Chuckle writing in the comment section: “Fancy frightening little Jimmy on your birthday… Happy birthday mate have a good un.”

Actress Michelle Hardwick continued, writing: “Oh my goodness been off here all week! I love this! Hope you had a fab day xxx.”

Another fan, @bookmumstheword, jested: “Happy Birthday Pete, all the best, Jimmy’s face is sad cos he’s wanting Birthday cake!”

Season 18 of Gogglebox continues on Wednesday at 11.05pm on Channel 4.
