Stephen Webb has shared his apologies after pulling a woman into a swimming pool, explaining that he felt it was "all part of the fun".
The 50 year old, who is known for starring in the hit Channel 4 show Gogglebox, was said to be fuming after being pushed into the water by a prankster friend while fully clothed at an exclusive club. While it was reported that he had been left "enraged" by it, he's since told The Sun that he took it in "very good spirits".
Those around him are said to have laughed out loud at the scene before them before Stephen reportedly grabbed a woman sitting by the pool into the water too.
The publication claimed that the woman had been chatting with Stephen's husband Daniel Lustig, 47, before it took place.
Now, Stephen, who recently shared a peak inside his £575,0000 Brighton home, has spoken out about the event as he shared: "I am very sorry if she felt upset or hurt by my actions. That was never my intention.
“I’d been swimming and having dried and got fully dressed, a friend pushed me back into the pool."
He went on to insist he took it "in very good spirits" as he added: "…everyone was laughing and joking so seeing his friend sat on the edge of the pool, pulled her round her waist into the water with me. We’d enjoyed a really good time together and I felt it was all part of the fun.”
Stephen and Daniel's day out by the pool comes months after the couple delighted fans by re-wearing their wedding suits as they attended a Buckingham Palace garden party.
The couple have were married in 2018 and luckily four years on their wedding attire still fits, although Stephen did admit his suit might be "on the snug side".
Posting a video on Instagram to document their visit to the Not Forgotten Garden party at Buckingham Palace, Daniel said: "I'm pleased to say we're both back in our wedding suits.
"Albeit, mine's a little bit on the snug side."
Daniel joked: "He's bulging."
