Harry and Meghan unlikely to see Queen in Balmoral during UK visit

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly "unlikely" to see the Queen in Balmoral during their trip to the UK in September.

It's been reported that the Queen will remain in Balmoral due to her mobility issues.

However, Prince Harry and Meghan, who recently launched her Spotify podcast Archetypes, are reportedly not planning to visit Scotland.

According to The Telegraph, a Home Office panel will also soon decide if Prince Harry and Meghan will be able to have protection by the Met Police.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be travelling to Manchester on Monday 5 September for One Young World Summit.

The opening ceremony will see Meghan give a keynote address.

On Tuesday 6 September, the couple will then go to Germany for the Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 One Year to Go event.

The Sussexes will then be back in the United Kingdom for the WellChild Awards on Thursday 8 September.

Prince Harry will reportedly give a speech at the London ceremony as he's been a a long-term patron of the charity.

During their time in the UK, the family are believed to be staying at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

Prince Harry and Meghan were last in England in June for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

During their Jubilee trip they were able to introduce the Queen to their daughter Lilibet, one, for the first time.

Though they appeared at the Jubilee Thanksgiving Service, the couple weren't allowed to stay on the balcony during the Trooping the Colour due to not being senior members of the royal family.

A statement by Buckingham Palace at the time, read: "After careful consideration, The Queen has decided this year’s traditional Trooping the Colour balcony appearance on Thursday 2nd June will be limited to Her Majesty and those Members of the Royal Family who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of The Queen.”

However the pair were pictured having fun with royal kids Isla Phillips, Savannah Phillips and Lena Tindall as Trooping the Colour took place.
