New year, new Hollywood couple.
Hardly a week into 2021, Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde have broken the Internet after being spotted flaunting some subtle PDA at his agent’s wedding at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, this past weekend. Photos published by Page Six show the duo—who worked closely together on Wilde’s forthcoming psychological thriller, Don’t Worry Darling—holding hands. Wilde wears a bohemian floral dress and a head wrap, while the “Watermelon Sugar” singer dons a black suit. Both also wore face masks by The Vampire’s Wife.
Per Page Six, the couple arrived at the wedding of Glenne Christiaansen and Jeff Azoff in style, pulling up to the venue in the musician’s vintage convertible.
According to an insider, the two have been quietly cultivating their budding romance for a few weeks. “They were in Montecito, California this weekend for a wedding,” a source told People. “They were affectionate around their friends, held hands and looked very happy. They have dated for a few weeks.”
In November, reports were released saying that Wilde had split from fiancé Jason Sudeikis. The couple was first romantically linked in 2011 and have since shared two children together. “The split happened at the beginning of the year,” a source told People at the time. “It’s been amicable and they’ve transitioned into a great co-parenting routine. The children are the priority and the heart of the family’s relationship.”
For Vogue‘s December issue, Wilde spoke fondly of casting Styles in Don’t Worry Darling, in which he costars with Florence Pugh and Chris Pine. “I did a little victory dance when we heard that we officially had Harry in the film, because we knew that he has a real appreciation for fashion and style,” she said. “And this movie is incredibly stylistic. It’s very heightened and opulent, and I’m really grateful that he is so enthusiastic about that element of the process—some actors just don’t care.”
