Helen Flanagan was allegedly “asked to cover up or leave” a fancy restaurant while on holiday in Barbados with her children.
The formerCoronation Street star, who was pictured jetting off on the lavish family holiday, was reportedly wearing a bikini when she was allegedly told to leave a restaurant or get changed due to her choice of clothing, though a fellow holidaymaker came to the rescue.
Speaking toThe Sun, an onlooker claimed that the doting mum-of-three “looked horrified” after turning up to the Kyma coffee shop at the four-star Waves Hotel and Spa in Barbados wearing a bikini.
“Helen turned up to the Kyma bar with her kids and was enjoying a drink outside. It was seriously hot in the early afternoon and when Helen took her kids indoors to get the air-conditioning, she was told she had to cover up or leave,” they said.
“She looked horrified because all she had on was a bikini and people were staring. My sister had a Skims black dress and lent it to her so she could go in.”
They added that while holidaymakers can go to the establishment after spending time on the beach, visitors are expected to put on a T-shirt or kaftan.
The onlooker continued that 32 year old Helen was appreciative of the kind gesture and explained that the former soap star was able to enjoy a coffee after changing into the dress.
They also claimed that Helen returned the dress, in addition to a pair of flip-flops that she was also lent, to the hotel reception for them to collect afterwards, calling Helen a “great sport”.
