Soap star James Sutton has pleaded with his fans to help him locate his beloved cat Ralph, who went missing in Liverpool.
The Hollyoaks actor, who's known for playing John Paul McQueen on the Channel 4 series, alerted fans earlier this week after his pet went missing.
He shared an adorable photo of the black and white cat on Instagram, explaining that the pet had not been chipped and didn’t have a collar.
Later on, the 39 year old thanked fans who’d shared his story, adding that he lives in “perpetual hope” that Ralph will be found.
He wrote: “Thank you to everyone for sharing my story and for your kind advice. No sign of him yet but I live in perpetual hope.”
Whilst the missing moggy has yet to return home, James has been updating fans with sightings.
Earlier today, he shared a sweet photo of Ralph and asked fans to keep an eye out the pet had been spotted in Anfield area.
The actor shares the cat with his wife Rachael Collins, whom he married three years ago whilst attending iconic music festival, Glastonbury.
Over the festive period, James has been very active on social media as he also revealed how he transformed his look this year.
He credited his morning routine for his new body, showing off his muscular arms in a simple white vest.
Detailing the complex process, he told his 111,000 followers that he’d banned social media and had begun practising gratitude early in the morning.
He also announced that he’d read 10 pages every morning to mentally prepare him for work, stating that it was the “right way” to start the day.
In the caption, he wrote: “'Get up early. No social media. Be still. Be grateful.”
“Drink water. Read 10 pages of something. Stretch. Exercise. Start your day the right way. You're already 2-0 up and it's not even half time.”
However, James emphasised the importance of self-love and how vital it was to well-being.
He continued: “Learn to accept yourself. Love yourself as you are. Your finest work, your best movements, your joy, peace and healing come when you love yourself.”
“At the end of the day, you're stuck with you, so you might as well try and make the best of it.”
Signing off, he finished: “Be well, you beautiful work in progress.”
Whilst James may view himself as imperfect, the same couldn’t be said of Coronation Street actress and friend Catherine Tyldesley.
Writing in the comments, she thanked James for his advice and dubbed the actor “Hercules”.
However, not everyone was as enamoured with James.
Litvinenko actor Barry Sloane teased the soap star, writing: “No slippers in the gym lad. Looking great thou”
