Kirsty Gallacher, 45, has reacted to fans’ comments on Instagram in a story post which says that she takes it as a compliment that fans consider her to look like the late singer-songwriter Robert Palmer’s girls. The radio star attached the song Addicted to Love with the message.
The comments from fans appeared in a photo selection posted by the star two hours ago on her main account.
The post was a series of photos following Kirsty’s interview with England rugby player Maro Itoje.
The message was sent out to her 356,000 followers.
She said: “A pleasure to talk to @maroitoje last night on the eve of the Six Nations squad announcement.
“What a delightful young man, who kindly appeared on my podcast recently ‘Stripped back sport’.
“Thank you for a gorgeous evening @nedsclublondon & to all those who attended the event.
“Thanks also to my gorgeous @sarahexley1 who decided to go for a ‘Robert Palmer’ look this time!! I loved it.”
Fans were quick to offer their compliments and well wishes.

Lepetitgenerale quipped, making reference to the song Addicted to Love by Robert Palmer: “Might as well face it…”
Cfdobs wrote: “Looking stunning.”
She then went on to the story feature to post an additional message to fans using the same photo.
The star was wearing a stylish beige suit in the photo she uploaded.
Alongside it, she wrote: “I take the comparison to a Robert Palmer girl as a compliment. Those that have commented!”
This was in reference to Robert’s hit video for the single Addicted to Love.
The iconic video featured a series of back-up dancers wearing strong black eye make-up and red lips.
Kirsty decided in December to step back from her posting at GB News.
The presenter made the decision following upsetting news about a health concern.
Kirsty quit Sky News last year to join the news channel, co-hosting the Great British Breakfast since its launch in June.
She penned: “During the summer I discovered I have a tumour in the inner canal of my right ear.
“Thankfully, it’s benign and not hugely detrimental to my normal life.”
“However, the tumour has caused severe tinnitus which makes it very difficult to sleep.
“Sadly my 3am starts at GB News, compounded by sleep deprivation, are exacerbating my symptoms.
“I have taken the difficult decision to take a step back from my role on the Great British Breakfast while I focus on my health.
“GB News has been incredibly supportive of me and I look forward to returning to the channel as soon as I can.”
