Victoria Beckham and David Beckham‘s eldest son, Brooklyn Beckman, recently married heiress and actor Nicola Peltz. After tying the knot some couples live in a starter home initially until they outgrow that space and eventually purchase a larger home where they can raise a family if they choose. Well Beckham and Peltz aren’t those couples. They actually had a beautiful starter home that they reportedly loved but decided to give that up in search of something smaller.
Here’s more on that and a look inside Beckham and Peltz’s Beverly Hills starter home, plus where they are planning to live now.
Beckham and Peltz’s wedding took place on the bride’s family’s $100 million estate
Beckham and Peltz, who have been dating since 2019, wed on April 9, 2022. Peltz is the daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz and their nuptials took place at the family’s $100 million estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
The couple said “I do” in front of 300 guests including several high-profile celebrities like Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Gordon Ramsay, Eva Longoria, Gigi Hadid, Nicole Richie, and Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen. Victoria Beckham’s Spice Girls bandmates Mel B and Mel C were in attendance too.
Marc Anthony was also on hand at the reception singing a few songs for the newlyweds and getting the crowd on their feet. Illusionist David Blaine was there as well to provide entertainment as he performed magic tricks during the cocktail hour.
A look inside Beckham and Peltz’s ‘starter’ home that cost $10.5 million
As E! News reported a year after getting engaged Beckham and Peltz bought their impressive “starter” home together in the Coldwater Canyon neighborhood of Beverly Hills. The asking price for the lovely abode was $9.5 million. But the house was in such high demand that in an effort to get it for themselves, the pair offered $1 million over the asking price paying $10.5 million for it.
The house is 7,700 square feet with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The property boasts an open floorplan featuring a living room with a linear fireplace, an all-white gourmet eat-in kitchen with top-tier appliances, and a breakfast nook as well as a temperature-controlled wine closet. There are also plenty of floor-to-ceiling windows for natural light and sweeping views of Los Angeles.
Some of the pad’s indoor amenities include an in-house juice bar, a gym, and a home theater. The property also has a 2,000-square-foot master suite with a fireside seating area, a wet bar, a beverage cooler, an office space, a balcony, a designer showroom closet, and a large spa-like bath with dual vanities, a walk-in shower, soaking tub, and sauna.
Outside the home, there’s a meditation/yoga deck surrounded by a Zen rock garden. The backyard is complete with a patio, a fire-pit, and a pool and spa adjacent to the alfresco dining area boasting a built-in barbecue and pizza oven.
Beckham and Peltz reportedly decided to list the property because they wanted two places, one on each coast, and didn’t think they needed something so big in one area. Now they are house-hunting for two smaller places; one in Miami and one in LA to be close to both of their families.
