This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby, 40, and Phillip Schofield, 59, have been hosting the show together since 2009. Recent rumours have suggested their time on the show may be coming to an end, however she has said this is far from the truth.

Other reports claimed they have had a behind-the-scenes feud.

Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, Holly said she feels “very lucky” to work with Phil.

She said: “I do really love him. I really love him. We’re lucky, we really are.

“I’ve read those things, too.

“It hurts sometimes, because it’s so unfair and untrue, so it’s difficult sometimes.

“We’re just incredibly lucky. So no, I’m not retiring, that’s a really long answer.”

Last year, Phillip put an end to claims the pair had a “feud”.

On Chris Evans’ How to Wow podcast, he said: “There was nothing that was being said that had any truth in it whatsoever.

“There was no and there has never been a feud with Holly.

“When they’re writing ‘Phillip and Holly and feud’ we couldn’t have been closer because I’d told her my secret and she was holding me together at work.”

He added: “There are literally no plans for me to leave This Morning, I adore that show.”

The presenter was referring to the time he came out as gay in February 2020.

Holly was by his side and interviewed him when he shared his truth on the show.

During their chat, he thanked her for being supportive and being there for him behind-the-scenes.

The pair have referred to each other as best friends several times in the past.

Before the coronavirus pandemic, they also regularly holidayed with their families together.

“You couldn’t do the amount of hours of TV that we do with each other without getting on,” Holly previously told Newsbeat.

The television duo also present Dancing on Ice together.

The Jonathan Ross Show airs Saturday at 10.05pm on ITV and ITV Hub.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
